Nova Scotia reopens its Nova Scotia Nominee program (NSNP)


In a very good move, Nova Scotia has decided to make sure that more and more immigrants come to this country. That’s why; it has opened the scheme of PNP for this province. The name of the PNPs is Nova Scotia Nominee Program. Under this scheme, the applicants will get 600 points and are then sent invitations to apply as per the Express Entry scheme.

  • The candidate should have language proficiency of CLB 7 which is equivalent to 6 in all the bands of English test IELTS.
  • A candidate is able to score 67 points as per the Federal Skilled worker category.

The second category under which the candidates are eligible to get qualified for Nova Scotia PNP is a job offer from a legitimate employer in this region. The job offer should not be of the Job categories of NOC C and D.  The candidates need to have a good language proficiency of CLB 7. 67 points as per the categories which are eligible for federal skilled worker class of Express Entry.

To be proved eligible under the Nova Scotia PNP, A candidate needs to apply to NSOI (Nova Scotia Office of Immigration) with an Expression of Interest.
